Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 12, 2026.
This policy describes the information AniJett processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you. It applies to the AniJett website and its related API routes.
Information we receive
- Discord sign-in: your Discord account ID, username, and avatar information returned by Discord. AniJett does not receive your Discord password.
- Watch state: episode progress, playback position, preferred audio mode, provider preference, and automatic next-episode preference when you are signed in.
- Comments: the text, anime reference, episode reference, account ID, username, avatar, and timestamp associated with a comment.
- Technical data: request information processed by Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers, such as timestamps, browser details, network information, and security events. We use this to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures.
- Catalog requests: search terms, requested titles, and regional or language preferences needed to return catalog or official availability results.
AniJett does not ask for payment card data and does not intentionally collect precise location data through the website.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate members, provide watch progress, show comments, return catalog results, locate authorized viewing destinations, secure the service, measure reliability, respond to rights requests, and communicate about material service changes.
Service providers
AniJett relies on service providers including Cloudflare, Discord, AniList, Jikan, Kitsu, Watchmode, YouTube, and configured hosting services. A provider receives only the request or account information needed for its function, subject to its own terms and privacy policy. AniJett does not sell personal information.
If you open a third-party link or load an authorized embed, that provider can receive information directly from your browser. YouTube embeds are governed by the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
Cookies and local storage
AniJett uses a signed session cookie for authentication and may use browser storage for playback and request caching. The player may also use storage to remember local preferences. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser, but doing so may sign you out or remove local playback state.
Retention and deletion
Account-linked watch state is retained while needed to provide the feature or until deletion is requested. Security logs and operational records may be retained for as long as needed to protect the service and investigate incidents. Comments may be held in the application’s comment store and can be removed through moderation or an operator request.
To request access, correction, or deletion of account-linked information, email [email protected] with enough information to verify the request. We may need to confirm account ownership before acting.
Children and international users
AniJett is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review it. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
This policy is general information, not legal advice. The operator should have local counsel review it for the jurisdictions where AniJett is offered.
